Multiverse theory:

This one isn’t scary but very fascinating id say. The idea of a Multiverse is a fascinating concept that suggests that our universe is just one of an infinite number of parallel universes each with its own unique set of physical laws and possibly even different versions of ourselves some versions of the theory propose that our universe is just one bubble in an infinite sea of other bubbles each representing a different Universe this means that there could be an infinite number of possibilities and realities existing alongside our own. this Theory raises some profound questions about our place in the cosmos and the nature of reality itself are there multiple versions of us living out different lives in parallel universes is our universe just one possibility among an infinite number of possibilities so next time you’re faced with a decision remember that in an alternate universe you might have made a different Choice. The Multiverse Theory reminds us that the possibilities are truly endless and that the universe is a vast and mysterious place keep your mind open and who knows what discoveries await us.

Stoned ape theory:

Lets start a bit light hearted before we go into the sad and disturbing theories. Did you know your ancestors could have been tripping on shrooms according to the stoned ape theory? Its sounds crazy but bare with me here there’s a good reason for this idea.  If you didn’t know we used to be hunters  and gatherers long before McDonald’s and uber eats was a thing.  Now how does this relate to mushrooms? Well we used to track and hunt animals based on their dropping’s as well as their tracks. Now what is the prefect growing habitat for mushroom’s to grow?? You guessed it animal dumplings now while our ancestors were on the hunt they might’ve stumbled upon these mushrooms. I know we  all be eating food we drop on the floor so these Monkey ancestors are definitely eating anything they see edible but one thing psychedelics do to the brain is  induce synesthesia which basically means  your senses cross over like being able to hear Colors and see sounds. you may be like huh?? How is that possible  I don’t know but I’m sure if you’re tripping hard enough anything is possible including opening the  floodgates to new ideas that could allow them. Like for example come up with new technology that would Aid  in their survival. These mushrooms could’ve been the reason why 2 million years ago our brains expanded past  what’s expected for mammals of the same body size the synesthesia induced by the shrooms   could have allowed the meaningless sounds we make like hearing a foreign language to  be associated with complex meanings like creating languages and ideas like creating weapons’ and stuff.

Flying is a very scary experience for some. While aviation is the safest form of transportation that doesn’t always guarantee catastrophes from occurring.  This case however is far from your typical aviation accident. This flights disappearance has sent shockwaves and has confused anyone trying to research or try to understand what happened. Lets get to the background of what happened. It was your typical day. As the plane flew over the Indian Ocean the last known recording or sight of this plane was the your typical black box recording. It was a communication between tower and the plane but that is the last trace of this flight. So what happened? The prevailing theory is that the moment they left Malaysian airspace, the pilot got the FO out of the cockpit (or slipped him a pill, who knows), quickly depressurized the cabin and incapacitated everyone on board (hence no distress calls). He then made a sharp left west where he skillfully went in and out of Thai/Malaysian airspace in the hopes that each country’s ATC would pass it off to the other country. He then circled Penang, possibly to take one finally look at his hometown, before finally flying south as far as he could towards the southern Indian Ocean before running out of fuel, crashing the plane and having it sink down to the bottom of the ocean so that it could never be found. Several experts have independently theorized that the plane is in one particular area but it costs a lot to get there and Malaysia doesn’t really want it found. No body, no crime.

It’s theorized that the pilot wanted to commit suicide while not jeopardizing death to his family over in Malaysia.

The great filter:

Give us a thousand years unless we destroy ourselves or do anything stupid then I’m sure we’re going to be on Mars we have already been on the moon. Give us a million years and we’ll start exploring and colonizing stars and galaxies. Now that’s if we survive. The theory is quite hard but I’ll make it simple. The Great Filter is an answer to something called the Fermi Paradox. The Fermi Paradox asks the following question: given that we, humans, exist, and that we have no particular reason to believe Earth or humanity is special, why haven’t we heard from anyone in the cosmos yet? The Great Filter theory says that one possible answer to this question is that there is some step (possibly more than one) in the process from “bare lifeless planet” to “galaxy-faring civilization” that must be very hard. If that step is behind us (that is, humanity passed it at some point in our evolution), that’s good news: it means we’re one of the first or one of the very few species that will reach our level of technology. On the other hand, if the step is ahead of us, that’s very bad. It means there is some danger, likely completely unknown to us, that can wipe us out in a way that is very difficult or impossible to avoid. It would mean that, for example, we should be extremely careful with certain kinds of scientific experimentation that we do not fully understand. The reason it’s scary is that, should we discover life elsewhere in our solar system, we can infer that all the steps before that point must be pretty easy. If we find, for instance, multicellular “fish” in the oceans of Saturn’s moon Enceladus, we can reasonably infer that life arises and reaches multicellular forms pretty often. Otherwise, it would be very unlikely to have happened twice in the same solar system. That, then, would increase the probability that the Great Filter is ahead of us.

The final and for me the most interesting and horrifying theory is Rokos basilisk. This is a very long theory but in a nutshell its set in the future, a super advanced Al will exist. It will punish all people who did not help it come into existence. So, if you aren’t donating every last dime to Al research, you’re part of the problem. So mostly the entire population will suffer. Here’s the complicated part, you might wonder this is in the future I’ll probably be dead, how’s it going to affect me. There’s the issue though. This Al is super advanced, to near God like power. It can reconstitute all the atoms that make you up, it can implant your memories into that new body, and then it can make you come alive, only to torture you for eternity. You might say, that’s silly, that’s just a copy of me, it’s not me my soul is somewhere else right? Not all philosophers believe that. Some believe that if you have an exact copy – down to the atoms – of ‘you then that is you. I’m not going to argue whether they’re right or not, just that some of the theorists believe this. So basically in conclusion the Super AI puts you together in the future, at the zenith of its power, and plays ‘I have no mouth, but I must scream’ with you for eternity. Scary right?
